Meet Talita Cinert

Title and Responsibilities at VA Salon?

I'm both an Assistant and a Stylist at Von Anthony Salon. I work behind the chair on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, while continuing to learn, grow, and support the salon team. I truly love helping others, learning from the talented people around me, and becoming a stronger stylist every day.

Why did you get into the beauty industry? 

I was a nurse in Brazil, and I've always loved taking care of people. After moving to the U.S. and dedicating many years to my family, I was ready to do something for myself again. I've always loved hair and beauty, so becoming a hairstylist felt like the perfect way to combine creativity with caring for others.

How do you stay innovative and up-to-date in your industry?

I'm always learning! I love watching hair education, trying new techniques, and learning from other professionals. There's always room to grow.

Favorite hair care tip? 

No time to cover those unexpected grays? Use a matte eyeshadow close to your root color for a quick temporary touch-up until your next appointment!

Favorite Kérastase product? 

Chroma Thermique! I love how it protects the hair from heat while leaving it soft and beautiful—especially for anyone who regularly uses hot tools.

Favorite Oribe product? 

Styling Butter Curl Enhancing Crème. It's lightweight and leaves curls soft, defined, and beautifully shaped without feeling heavy.

What do you like to do in your free time? 

I love spending time with my husband and our two boys, cooking, and simply enjoying time together as a family.

What do you want to say to your future clients?

When you sit in my chair, I want you to feel heard, comfortable, and cared for. I'll always give you my patience, dedication, and my best work. I truly love what I do, and I can't wait to have you in my chair!
