Why did you get into the beauty industry?
I got into the beauty industry because I wanted to use my creativity to touch peoples' lives.
How do you stay innovative and up-to-date in your industry?
I believe that continuing education and an open mind are they key to staying fresh and up to date in the industry. I have had the opportunity to work with amazing mentors who have inspired me to constantly challenge myself. I keep current by taking classes, watching videos of my favorite artists, and attending national beauty industry events. Being an educator myself, I've learned the greatest source of education can come from watching and sharing with those who work next to you.
Favorite hair care tip?
If you want your hair to look as fabulous as you do whenever you walk out of the salon, always use quality products at home. This is my mantra that I say over and over to my clients, as well as friends and family. Healthy Hair is Beautiful Hair.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to keep up with fashion trends and spend time with my family. I'm also an avid music fan and vinyl record collector.
